Norovirus, sometimes known as the "winter vomiting bug", is one of the most common stomach bugs in the UK and is thought to affect up to 1 million people every year in the UK.
This study is researching the effectiveness of an investigative vaccine that is hoping to prevent symptoms of norovirus in patients who are 60 years old or older.

In this clinical study, we are researching an investigative norovirus vaccine and its effectiveness at preventing norovirus in patients over the age of 60. Novovirus can be really unpleasant and this study hopes to reduce the impact norovirus has on the population.
The study will involve participants receiving the study injection just once with up to 7 clinic visits required over the course of the 2 year study. Participants in the study will also receive reimbursement for study related activities.
